Not the wine! George Clooney's estate on Lake Como in Italy was targeted by a burglar on Thursday, May 22.

According to the Telegraph, the robber attempted to break into the 53-year-old actor's luxurious villa, but only succeeded in stealing one measly bottle of wine.

A source tells Us Weekly: "The alleged burglar, a 29-year-old Romanian man, found the wine in a small alcove in the garden of the lakeside property and then tried to force his way into the villa."

The thief didn't make it far. The Telegraph reports he was spotted by Clooney's security and the police were called, later arresting the man upon arrival. The criminal was then taken to a police station nearby and charged with theft.

Clooney is currently in London with his fiance Amal Alamuddin. The actor arrived at Heathrow airport alone yesterday, May 21, and took a car to meet his lady love, carrying with him only a "small pull-along suitcase," a source tells Us.

Clooney and British attorney Alamuddin, 36, who got engaged just last month, are expected to tie the knot sometime this fall.
