George Clooney's Rep Explains Girlfriend's New Mystery Ring

George Clooney's girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis flashed a giant rock on her ring finger while dining this weekend in Italy.
Though it could be an engagement ring, his rep would only tell UsMagazine.com, “It’s a napkin ring.”

Canalis, 31, and Clooney, 49, have been dating since last year.
"He's better than plastic surgery!" she recently gushed.

The two are set to attend the Primetime Emmys on Aug. 29; Clooney will receive the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.
Said Canalis, "I'm very proud. It's a very important award. I'll be there with him."
