Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s Ex-Bodyguards Sentenced to Five Years in Jail For Attempted Murder

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's ex-bodyguards have been sentenced to five years in prison for firing shots at photographers at the couple's 2009 wedding in Costa Rica.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's April 2009 wedding was a magical day for the power couple, but for two of their former bodyguards, it marks the day they made a decision that ended up landing them in jail.

Miguel Solis and Alexander Rivas were found guilty of attempted murder in Costa Rica after firing shots at photographers trying to sneak some shots of the power couple's nuptials, multiple outlets are reporting. The third man charged with the incident was acquitted when the verdict was rendered on Nov. 15.

According to Britain's Sky News, Solis and Rivas will each face five years in jail and have been ordered to pay $10,000 each in restitution to the photographers. 

Bundchen has said she had no knowledge of the shooting at the time and never even heard shots being fired.
