Tom Brady isn't going home with a Vince Lombardi Trophy this year -- but wife Gisele Bundchen's not a bad consolation prize!

On Sunday, the New England Patriots, led by handsome quarterback Brady, 34, lost Super Bowl XLVI to the New York Giants in Indianapolis, Indiana. (The final score in the thrilling game was 21-17.)

Post-game, after he showered and changed, the somber star athlete greeted Bundchen, 31, inside the Lucas Oil Stadium; the mother of his son Benjamin sweetly consoled her man, who got emotional during press interviews. See more photos of Gisele comforting Tom.

"It always comes down to one or two plays in this game and if you make it, you're celebrating. If you don't, then you don't sleep for a week," he told the Boston Herald.

The country's most high-profile football wife certainly did her part to try and secure a win for her man -- sending loved ones an email last week asking them to pray for his victory.

"I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong," the Brazilian catwalker wrote. "Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this Sunday."

I guess it's a lot harder for the Patriots to win now that they got caught memorizing the other team's play calls. I think it's karma for them cheating all those years.

I can't say that Brady didn't try because he did and so did his teammates. S_ht happens. It's a game and someone is going to lose. It was not an upset or something and they did not lose by a long shot. They all played well. Patriots have never been able to win over the Giants. They have been here before. Lighten up, it's a game for goodness sake.

The game was going decently enough...until the camera showed a clip of Gisele in the luxury box.....then the game went sour....Note to camermen: Don't show clips to fans of the players wives, girlfriends, etc, makes for bad karma apparently :-S

Unlike most of you..I don't PERSONALLY know the Brady's (sarcasm) so I'll just say Tom is still an awesome quarterback..I could care less who won but my husband was rooting for the Patriots...

Brady is the biggest ass clown in football, he's so competitive he "won't sleep for a week" after a game loss? Oh right, this is the same guy who throws temper tantrums when he loses while playing poker WITH FRIENDS. I for one am HAPPY he lost, I love it when he loses EVERY game, the whiny baby can go cry on his model wife's shoulder.

This girl needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. She blamed Brady's teamates for not catching the ball, she said her husband couldn't trow the ball and catch it too. She has no class or tact..She makes her husband look so weak. You win as a team and you lose as one. Giants- Super Bowl Champs!
