She ain’t no hollaback girl. Gwen Stefani stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 12, looking happy and carefree just one day after Us Weekly exclusively broke the news of her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s affair with the nanny.
Stefani, 46, wore a neon pink sweater, mirrored sunglasses, and her trademark bold red lip for her outing, along with one very tell-tale accessory: a huge smile.
On Wednesday night, the Voice coach got emotional as she addressed her team on the reality singing competition show.
“Honestly, I am so blown away by this whole experience,” the “Used to Love You” singer said from her high-backed red chair. “You guys are saving me, you know, saving me. I love you guys. Watching you blossom before my eyes, having my influence on you is such a gift.”
As Us Weekly reveals in its new issue, Stefani’s husband of 13 years, Bush frontman Rossdale, carried on a three-year affair with their sons’ nanny Mindy Mann, a fact that caused her to file for divorce earlier this year.
A source told Us that when the No Doubt singer discovered explicit texts between Rossdale, 50, and Mann, back in February, that was the final straw.
What Rossdale did, according to the source, “was unforgivable.”
“She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed,” the source added.
Stefani surprised fans by stepping out with fellow Voice coach — and new boyfriend! — Blake Shelton this past Halloween, and is on the mend. According to the family source, “It’s nice to see her happy again after being in an unhappy marriage with a cheater for so long.”
