Aren’t they just the cutest? Gwen Stefani got super giddy wishing her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, a happy 40th birthday via social media on Saturday, June 18.
“Happy birthday to my favorite person I ever met @blakeshelton gx,” she captioned a throwback photo of Shelton as a little boy. The No Doubt singer, 46, added a cow, a bee and a sunflower emoji, along with the hashtag, “superbabe.”
(She also later shared a photo of an even younger–looking Shelton to her Instagram account.)
Shelton happily retweeted Stefani’s message just a few minutes later. “Now THIS is how you start your 40’s!!!!!!!” he wrote. “Thank you @gwenstefani for everything…”

The couple, who went public with their relationship last November, just months after both of their marriages fell apart, stepped out to dinner in West Hollywood on Friday night with Stefani’s brother Todd and his wife, Jennifer.
The “Make Me Like You” singer wore her hair up in a high ponytail and stunned in a stylish black jacket and miniskirt combination (she finished off her look with stiletto booties).
The man of the hour opted for his trademark flannel and jeans for the double date night.
“I just like being with her, but when she’s all dolled up and we go places, it’s always fun for me,” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight last month. “If she was here right now, not one person here would be looking at anybody else but her. It’s just cool to know that’s who I came here with. That’s basically what [my new song ‘A Guy With a Girl’] is about. They may come up and talk to me, but it’s only because I’m one person over from her. Pretty cool.”
Earlier this month, Stefani spoke to Us about their romance and similarly couldn’t stop gushing about her love.
“I’m our biggest fan,” she told Us at the launch of Samsung’s two new fitness wearables, Gear Fit2 and Gear IconX, on June 2. “I actually feel like I’m not in my own life, because I’m not. I’m in a different life all of a sudden. I’m so blessed and I feel like I believe in my path. Now there’s all these miracles around me!”
