From fiancee to wife! Two weeks after marrying Olivier Martinez, pregnant Halle Berry showed off her new wedding band while running errands with 5-year-old daughter Nahla in Santa Monica on Tuesday, July 23.
The 46-year-old actress flashed photographers the large gold band that complements her gold and emerald engagement ring. Berry, who is expecting her first child with husband Martinez, also proudly displayed her growing baby bump under a bright red shirt krisa.
Martinez, 47, proposed to Berry in January 2012 with a ring designed by Parisian jeweler Robert Mazlo. The actor told Miami.com that the designer is "a real artist" whose family has designed jewelry for European royalty for hundreds of years.
The couple quietly tied the knot at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France on July 13. The Dark Tide costars exchanged vows in a civil ceremony first, and then had a religious ceremony at a chapel in front of 60 guests.
This is the third wedding for Berry, who was previously married to baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and R&B singer Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.
The X-Men: Days of Future Past star welcomed daughter Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Abury in 2008. Berry told CNN that her second pregnancy with Martinez "has been the biggest surprise of my life. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."
