The Broadway vet and Frozen actress is set to belt out the National Anthem before kickoff. Legend will also be on hand to sing “America The Beautiful.” (The soul R&B singer and Common just won a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award for their song “Glory” from the Oscar-nominated film Selma.)

Ecstatic about the opportunity, Menzel tweeted about her performance shortly after the news broke. “It was 1991 and I remember it well: Whitney [Houston] sings the national anthem at the Super Bowl,” she wrote. “Almost as glorious as her voice was her huge radiant smile. I am so humbled and honored to be asked this year.”

Mid-game, Katy Perry will then take over for her highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Lenny Kravitz would be her “special guest” for the evening.

“I’ve got some insane ideas. Like what if we covered the whole stadium in glitter, but the glitter was edible?” the “Roar” singer said during a November promo video. “This halftime show is going to be crazy. I’ve got my time machine bringing in my very special guest, my dancers, kittens.”
