Brooke Burke is a pro at keeping secrets!
One month after she tied the knot with love of six years David Charvet aboard the 77-foot yacht Malaika off St. Bart's, the 40-year-old Dancing With the Stars co-host surprised pals yet again when she turned her Malibu birthday bash into a second wedding ceremony on Friday.
(Only a handful of friends and family members attended the couple's August 12 nuptials, including son Shaya, 3, and daughter Rain, 4, and Burke's daughters from her first marriage, Sierra, 9, and Neriah, 11. Charvet's friend Jean Yves Haouzi and his girlfriend, Giedra Rusyte, were also present.)
At Friday's surprise bash, Burke donned her custom Mark Zunino wedding down before changing into a sequined jumpsuit. Guests included Derek Hough, Alison Sweeney and Lisa Rinna.
"Brooke and I finally got married with our parents and friends last night," Charvet, 39, tweeted Saturday. "It was beautiful!"
To celebrate their newlywed bliss, the couple set up a joint Twitter account, @Charvetlove. "On our way to our local honeymoon. No kids, just pure romantic love," they wrote. "We finally are relaxing, basking in the memories from our religious, legal wedding last night."
