The odds of stealing the show were definitely in their favor. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's kids Jaden and Willow made quite the frenzy while walking the red carpet at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire Los Angeles premiere on Monday, Nov. 18. The siblings (in eccentric and bizarre clothing!) decided to pose for several awkward snapshots before heading inside to view the new film, in which neither kid stars.
Jaden, 15, and Willow, 13, arrived in an SUV for the star-studded event without their famous parents. The Karate Kid actor wore a black ensemble with mismatched sneakers while the "Whip My hair" singer wore a blue and orange kimono jacket, tight-fitting pants and high boots. Some of their creepier antics included slouching toward each another, Jaden getting serious while holding up a peace sign with his right hand, and Willow holding up her hands to her chest as if she were praying.
But once inside, the two seemed to refocus their attention to the highly anticipated sequel starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson -- and Jaden's girlfriend Kylie Jenner. "During the screening, Jaden grabbed Willow's hand and he led them up and down the aisles of the theater while everybody was loading in until he finally found Kylie," an insider tells Us Weekly.
"They all looked really excited for the film and were rushing to meet up to take their seats so they could sit next to each other," the source added. "Once they reached the top of the stairs, Kylie endearingly placed her arm on Jaden's and they flashed each other a sweet smile."
