Video: Jake Pavelka: "No," I'm Not "Gay"
Bachelor Jake Pavelka is single again and looking for love -- with a gal, not a guy. The reality star debunked unsubstantiated rumors that he is gay during a Wednesday appearance on The View.
The topic came up as he and The View's female panel chatted about ex Vienna Girardi's charges that they weren't "intimate" for months during their relationship.
"There was a lack of intimacy because our problems were so heavy," Pavelka, 32, explained. "I can't separate love and intimacy -- and apparently that makes me gay."

But, when asked point blank whether he is gay, he said, "no, no," adding, "one of my best friends is gay. I can't see how someone can look at [Vienna] and find her not attractive."
The pilot said that he and Girardi "have not spoken" since their fiery TV reunion taped on June 24. He also defended his angry behavior during that interview. "What people don't understand is, that was 24 hours after my [publicist] called me on the set of Drop Dead Diva saying the relationship was over. [Vienna] didn't call me, it was a publicist," he charged.

"24 hours later, I'm sitting there and I wasn't ready," he said of the joint interview with Girardi, which aired during a July 5 episode of The Bachelorette. "You know when you're kids and you're trying to protect yourself? It was like that."
The heartbroken star said, "When I got down on one knee, I meant it. I still believe that you can find love on that show."

Pavelka passed on good wishes to just-engaged Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, a contender for his final rose on The Bachelor before she left for her job at Facebook. "I knew she would make a beautiful Bachelorette," he said. "I'll always have a special place in my heart for her."
Fedotowsky also slammed rumors that Pavelka is gay during a July appearance on Lopez Tonight. "Just because he wears really nice turtleneck sweaters does not mean he's gay!" she joked.

Jake is such a loser. He should've quit while he was ahead. He came off as such a great respectable guy on Jillian's season. He still was somewhat respectable until the last few episodes of his own Bachelor adventure. Now he's just a dirtbag wife-beater type of opportunist trying to get famous and become the next great actor. Ummmmm I don't think so. I love how he said he had to 'audition' for Drop Dead Diva...are you kidding me? That part was written for someone who had been The Bachelor. As long as he could say a few sentences and not overact too much, it was his part. He has no talent and is a closet abusive guy. I don't wish him on any woman or man for that matter. I hope we NEVER see him again after this little press tour and his cameo on the Diva series. Then he can move back to Texas, fly some planes or do whatever and meet some meek woman who will live her life fully dedicated to him and his every need -- she won't have a personality nor any desires of her own. She won't be having any $ex life with him. What a sad boring freakish guy. His 15 minutes are officially over. Hopefully he won't do anything crazy to extend it. But he's done in Hollywood. Good riddens to bad rubbish!!

I watched this on The View yesterday and I'm telling you - they dogged his azz out really bad!!! I can't stand this fake mut, but I was starting to feel a little bad for him. He even tried hitting on Elizabeth, she obviously felt uncomfortable, then the ladies jumped him for that too. Gay or not, he got his azz whipped by those ladies!!!!

why does everyone insist on saying he's verbally abusive? no one is slamming vienna sausage for her two year old behavior, she yelled at him. This is what drives me crazy about the whole 'feminist' movement. It becomes all the man's fault, when usually it's the woman's fault. He had every right to tell her to stop interrupting him.
