When asked by Usmagazine.com about Pavelka, ABC says: "We are not going to confirm who The Bachelor is or if this woman is even one of the bachelorettes. People need to tune into Dancing With the Stars on October 13 to find out the real identity of the next Bachelor."

Gammel says she probably won't find love with Pavelka, a fellow pilot originally from Dallas.
"We'd never see each other!" she says.

I cannot believe that they would pick someone so boring boring boring... will be like watching paint dry. I usually do not miss an episode of the bachelor /bachelorette, but will definately not be watching a second of this one. Hope it is not true, would love to see Reid be the Bachelor...Cute,funny and really neat personality.
You would think that the next Bachelor would have some personality. I am an avid Bachelor/Bachelorette fan but I will not waste my time watching this guy (Mr perfect) . Reid was definately the choice to keep the ratings up. You missed the boat abc

To Kay, Jake was on the bachelorette to activate his acting career. He didn't want Jillian, he wanted to be the Bachelor all along,he thinks that's going to be his big break. He got very lucky that Reid turned the offer down and I'm sure Kiptyn did too. He should send those guys thank you cards. But, just wait and see who the real Jake is by the end of next season.

THIS IS GREAT!!!! Jake was the most kindest, sweetest, and an all around great gentleman (not to mention he is cute as hell)!!! Hopefully he will find someone worthy of him, not some fly-by-night who is just there to be on TV to futher her career, or to make some kind of a$$ of herself. Good luck Jake!...you deserve the best!!!
