James Blake's Tampa Bay, Fla., home caught on fire on Wednesday, May 7, and firefighters discovered four dead bodies inside the former tennis player's home, Us Weekly has learned.

Blake, 34, was not home at the time of the incident, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office tells Us in a statement. The Hillsborough County Fire responded to the residential fire at 5:45 a.m. and discovered fireworks inside. It is undetermined what kind of fireworks were found or where they were located. Blake was renting out his residence at the time.

Identities of the victims will not be released until a positive identification has been made by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office. For now, an investigation will continue inside the residence, but it will be a slow process due to the heavy damage the fire has caused.

Blake retired from playing professional tennis last August. He played and lost against Ivo Karlovic in his final tournament at the U.S. Open.
