Bollocks! Jamie Dornan is quieting the talk.
The Irish hunk, 32, shot down rumors this week that his wife Amelia Warner doesn't want him doing the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels. While there was speculation that the English actress is not a fan of her husband's role in the raunchy series, Dornan said that there's no truth to the words.
"Total bollocks!" he told the Daily Mail. "Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she's massively supportive of Fifty Shades."
Warner, also 32, wed Dornan in April 2013, and the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Dulcie, in November 2013. Without any hesitation from his wife, Dornan said he will continue his turn as Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele in further Fifty Shades films.
"The idea was that we honor the trilogy and do all three," the Fall star said of the big-screen adaptations of E L James' erotic novels.
While many critics and fans alike took issue with the dynamic between Dornan and Johnson, 25, the Marie Antoinette actor brushed off rumors of ill will between the two and said there is an on-screen spark between himself and the Social Network star.
"They wouldn’t have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem… whatever chemistry means," he told the Daily Mail. "You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn’t have cast us."
Chemistry or not, Fifty Shades of Grey is already a huge success. The R-rated flick has brought in more than $529.2 million in the month that it has been in theaters.
