Our hearts go out to the Sigler family. As previously reported, Jamie-Lynn Sigler's older brother Adam Sigler died on Wednesday, Nov. 12, after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Late Thursday, Nov. 13, a rep for the Sopranos alum released a statement to Us Weekly about the tragedy, paying tribute to her late sibling's incredible spirit.
"Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by the sudden loss of Adam Sigler," the statement from her rep read. "He brought love and joy to everyone around him, especially his family, who were by his side when he passed. Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration. We ask that the family's privacy be respected during this time."
Sources close to the actress, 33, told Us that Adam was in a coma when he passed away on Wednesday. In the hours leading up to his death, "the family was with him every second," one insider said.
"Adam was always so happy and inspired Jamie to be a better person every day," the source added. "She loved him dearly and will miss him more than anyone can ever imagine."
She's not the only one, of course. "He was engaged," the insider told Us, referring to Adam's fiancee, Danielle Piro. "He was such a funny, amazing man. He was an incredible uncle who was loved by all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed."
