Arnold, who was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, told Us Weekly in a statement in December that she had been undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy. “I am very fortunate as the prognosis is very good,” the neonatologist told Us.

The mother of two — to adopted son Will, 3, and daughter Zoey, 2, with husband Bill Klein, 38 — added in the statement, “While there is never a good time to get news like this; getting it just as we are building our new family is tough in many ways . . . but being surrounded by the love of my husband and our two beautiful children is actually in many ways giving me the strength to fight it even stronger.”

Staying true to her mantra of strength, Arnold posted images of herself celebrating the holidays with her family. The reality star has maintained a brave and positive attitude through her health scare. Just three days before Christmas, she wrote, “Cancelled chemo= feeling better for holiday= energy for baking Christmas cookies with kids & @ReallyBillKlein- Life doesn’t get much better!” Her husband has also been expressing support for wife as she continues fighting through cancer.

TLC told Us that the network will document Arnold’s battle with cancer. “TLC has chronicled Bill and Jen’s lives since 2009 and at their request, we will be following them through this challenge. Jen is a doctor and teacher and she saw this as an opportunity to educate and possibly help, through sharing her story.”

Fans are asked to send their regards to Arnold on Twitter using the #GetWellJen hashtag.
