Bikini? Check. Beach? Check. Beer? Check. Jennifer Lawrence showed off her enviable figure in a blue floral bikini while vacationing in the Bahamas with a few girlfriends on Friday, March 4.
The Joy actress looked happy as a clam as she sipped on beers and went snorkeling with pals while relaxing on a yacht just off the coast.
In one photo from the excursion, Lawrence, 25, held up a conch she found underwater; later, the Oscar-winning actress showed off all her prizes lined up in a row.
Lawrence’s sun-drenched getaway comes after the end of a long awards season. On Sunday, February 28, the Hunger Games actress was bested by newcomer Brie Larson for an Oscar for best actress.
Fans also took to Twitter to express minor panic over the star’s seeming absence from the red carpet.
An observer confirmed to Us Weekly, however, that Lawrence was merely running a bit behind schedule.
“There was a complete crazy frenzy when Jennifer Lawrence rushed through late,” the source told Us. “[She was] literally the last to come down after everyone else had been inside for 10 minutes or so. [Joy director] David O. Russell was on her arm.”
