Jessa Duggar's Newborn Son Meets Baby Cousin Israel -- Via FaceTime!

It’s the next generation of Duggars! On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s little bundle of joy got acquainted with his older cousin Israel in a very high-tech way: via FaceTime!

“Izzy got to FaceTime his cousin today!” Seewald captioned a cute screenshot of the baby banter. In the capture, it looks as though his as-yet-unnamed son is fast asleep as toddler Israel, 7 months, looks like he’s itching to get closer to the screen. (The Seewalds live in a newly renovated home in Arkansas.)

Israel is the son of Jessa’s sister, Jill, and her husband, Derick Dillard. The family of three currently reside in Central America, where they are doing missionary work.

Jessa, 23, and Ben, 20, welcomed their first child into the world together on Thursday, Nov. 5, and have been slowly sharing some images from their son’s first days.

“Every time I look into this precious little face, I can’t believe he’s really mine!” Jessa captioned an adorable snapshot of her little boy all bundled up in a brown towel. “I feel blessed beyond measure! …P.X. Still haven’t decided on his middle name! Looking forward to sharing with y’all as soon as we decide!”

As previously reported, Jessa suffered several complications when giving birth to her 9 lbs, 11 ounce son.

According to TMZ, the 19 Kids and Counting alum had to be hospitalized after her little boy was born due to complications. Matriarch Michelle made the 911 call.

The next day, new dad Ben updated fans, letting them know that their son was “precious and both he and Jessa are doing great.”
