Jessica Alba Admitted She Was “Always Kind of Insecure” and Felt She “Wasn’t Smart Enough”

Jessica Alba's won awards for being smokin' hot, but that doesn't mean she's always felt that way! The Fantastic Four actress opened up to Meredith Vieira on The Meredith Vieira Show on Wednesday, Sept. 10, and admitted that growing up, she actually felt "always kind of insecure."

"My teens and my 20s I just wasn’t sure of myself and I was always kind of insecure and I always felt I needed to apologize for myself," the brunette told the talk show host. "After I became, first of all, 30 and being a mom of two, I just sort of came into myself as a woman and now I have a company," Alba said of daughters Honor, 6, and Haven, 3.

The Honest Company co-founder, 33, explained her lack of education also hindered her confidence. "I was always also insecure about not going to college and I always felt I wasn’t smart enough," she added. "I feel better now especially after 30, it’s crazy what happens."

And feel better she should! According to the Wall Street Journal, Cash Warren's wife's eco-friendly company is set to make $150 million this year, while Forbes recently revealed The Honest Company is worth just under $1 billion in advance of a potential IPO.
