She's back! On Friday, July 12, a little less than two weeks after giving birth to son Ace Knute Johnson, her second child with fiance Eric Johnson, Jessica Simpson returned to Twitter.
"Eric got carried away with his swaddling skills!" the Fashion Star mentor, 32, wrote on the micro-blogging site. The tweet was accompanied by a funny picture of her mom, Tina Simpson, wrapped up like a baby in a beige blanket.
Prior to posting the photo, Simpson hadn't tweeted anything since June 22, a full week before she delivered her new little bundle of joy via C-section. Us Weekly exclusively broke the news of Ace's birth on Sunday, June 30.
"Mom and baby are doing great," her rep told Us of Simpson, also mom to daughter Maxwell, 14 months. "Jessica, Eric, and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."
"The baby is beautiful. He has Eric's little chin dimple!" a pal shared a few days later. "Maxwell is excited. She doesn't totally get it and understand, but she is very excited to have a brother."
