Jessica Simpson is relying on her close girlfriends as she copes with her latest breakup with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. On Saturday, she enjoyed a ladies' night with her close pals CaCee Cobb, Adrienne Sands and stylist Nicole Chavez. "Love my ladies!!!" Simpson, 29, Tweeted of the night out. "Wish I could be with them everyday of my life. Laughter is wonderful :)"
Simpson also seems to be turning to her mother Tina for support. On July 17, she Tweeted: "There is no better woman in the world than my MOM." The two also watchd the movie version of Great Expectations on Sunday. In a Tweet, Tina teased: "Seriously...@jessicasimpson will not stop talking about everything GREEN in this movie! I may puke 'GREEN'! BUT I love that she sees 'GREEN'!"
While Simpson has been laying low since Romo dumped her the night before her 29th birthday, her ex hasn't. On Sunday, he nabbed second place at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Tahoe.
"I was shocked, but there is a reason for everything, and you never know what is going to happen," Romo's teammate Ken Hamlin recently Usmagazine.com of the split. "His personal life is his personal life. I don't know what's going on."
