Joey and Rory Feek: Their Sweetest Moments

Cherishing every single moment.

Rory Feek has been chronicling his wife Joey Feek’s battle with stage IV cancer on his blog, This Life I Live, and along the way he’s shared moments from their love story and family life.

The country music stars, who performed as Joey + Rory, wed in 2002, just four months after their first date. They had separate music careers at the time, but decided to come together as a duo to audition for CMT’s Can You Duet in 2008. They placed third and released their first album, The Life of a Song, that same year.

The pair went on to release seven albums together, including Hymns That Are Important to Us, which just gave them their first-ever entry in the Billboard 200 top ten. However, their biggest achievement is their 2-year-old daughter, Indiana, who Joey gave birth to on February 17, 2014, just four months before she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
