The show must go on. Johnny Depp took the stage to perform with his band, Hollywood Vampires, at the former Horsens State Prison in Denmark on Wednesday, June 1, and he didn’t let the ongoing drama with estranged wife Amber Heard stop him from rocking out for the crowd.

The 52-year-old musician is currently touring Europe with his bandmates, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. Depp wore sunglasses to hide his eyes during the concert, but seemed to be smiling. While there was no controversy over the Denmark tour date, the supergroup faced boycotts at a show in Sweden on Monday, May 30, over Heard’s abuse accusations.

The performance comes a little over a week after Heard, 30, filed for divorce from Depp on Monday, May 23, after 15 months of marriage. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the petition and asked for spousal support from Depp, who later asked the judge to reject her claim. The filing came just days after Depp’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, passed away.

The Alice Through the Looking Glass actor’s rep told Us Weekly in a statement that he hopes everything will be resolved quickly. “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” the rep said on Thursday, May 26. “Hopefully, the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

The following day, The Danish Girl actress was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her estranged husband. In the court documents from May 27, Heard claimed Depp abused her and threw an iPhone at her face on the Saturday before she filed for divorce, even bringing photographic evidence of the alleged abuse. She also recalled an incident from her April 21 birthday party, where she claims Depp showed up “inebriated and high” and allegedly abused her.

Depp’s camp has denied all allegations of domestic violence. His attorney, Laura Wasser, said that Heard is “attempting to secure” financial gain with the accusations. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department later told Us Weekly that when officers arrived at the couple’s L.A. residence on the day of the alleged iPhone incident, they saw no evidence for a report.

The Oscar nominee’s 17-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose, and his former partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, also gave statements defending Depp, in which they both called him a “loving” person. Depp and Paradis split in 2012, shortly before he started dating Heard, and also share a 14-year-old son, Jack.

Earlier this week, Heard’s attorney Samantha F. Spector and co-counsel Joseph P. Koenig slammed Depp and his team for trying to discredit the actress’ claims of abuse in a statement to Us Weekly. “As the result of Amber’s decision to decline giving an initial statement to the LAPD, her silence has been used against her by Johnny’s team. Amber did not provide a statement to the LAPD in an attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny’s career,” the statement read. “Amber is the victim. Amber is a hero,” it concluded.
