Jon Gosselin’s Lawyer: ‘Whole Story Isn’t Being Told’ About Son Collin

When asked about Jon’s claims that she won’t inform him of Collin’s whereabouts, Kate, 41, told GMA: “We are both court ordered not to speak about the care and custody of our children in detail. I’ve known all along where [Collin] is, but the world doesn’t know, and I’ll leave it at that.”

In a statement to Us Weekly, Jon’s lawyer confirmed the court order and then briefly elaborated on the situation.

“Jon is bound by the court order. Needless to say, certain comments and statements that are being made are very upsetting to Jon, but given his obligation to the court order, there is not much he can do right now,” his lawyer Kristen Doleva-Lecher told Us, adding that Jon, 39, is also “very upset by certain statements made to the press” and that he feels “the whole story is not being told.”

As previously reported, Jon told ET that Kate wouldn’t tell him where Collin is seeking treatment.

“I have an idea where he is but I don’t really know where he is,” Jon said in an interview that aired Wednesday, November 16. “I mean, I ask but she doesn’t tell me. She doesn’t answer any of my texts.”

During his previous interview with ET, Jon threatened legal action against Kate.

“I’ve lost track of how many times he’s said that,” Kate told GMA of Jon. “I’m really focused less on what Jon has to say. I don’t really pay attention, to be honest.”

The exes currently share joint physical custody of their eight children — twins Mady and Cara, 16, and 12-year-old sextuplets, Collin, Aaden, Alexis, Hannah, Leah and Joel.
