Jordin Sparks is the latest star to do her part to help the humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti.
The American Idol winner and Grammy-nominated singer, 20, lends her voice to a new, 30-second public service announcement.
"SOS Children's Villages is on the ground, helping support children who have lost their parents and extended families and providing them with a loving, nurturing environment," she said in a statment. "In a time where every effort in Haiti helps makes a difference, I ask all of you to support SOS Children's Villages so that they can continue to provide a safe haven to children at risk."
How can you help?
Sparks is asking fans to host a Hasbro "Playathon" -- a creative way for kids to raise money through play -- to bring in funds.
"It's fun, and you'll really be making a difference," she says in the video.
