Joss Stone "Fine" After Murder/Kidnapping Attempt

British soul singer Joss Stone can rest easy.
One week after police arrested two men near her home in Cullumpton, England, the 24-year-old singer -- the victim of an alleged murder and kidnapping plot -- told Pop Eater she's ready to put the incident behind her.

"Oh, I'm fine. Thank you, though -- that's very sweet," Stone said. "They didn't manage it, so it's all good."
(Police found swords, rope and a body bag when they took the two men into custody; the men also had detailed maps and aerial photos of Stone's property.)

Though the singer was hesitant to say much more about the case, Stone was willing to open up about another recent event: Prince William and Kate Middleton's April 29 wedding!
"That was fun," Stone recalled. A friend of 29-year-old William, the "Fell in Love With a Boy" singer has yet to actually meet Middleton, 29.
"I've done a lot of things for their charity and their Dad's. You meet William and Harry as you go along, they had me sing at [the Princess Diana tribute concert] which was really, really nice," Stone said. "They're just lovely, they're just really friendly, funny, lovely guys. I was quite flattered, actually, to be invited."
