Lindsay Lohan Denies Anklet Was Set Off

More potential trouble for Lindsay Lohan.
An L.A. judge called an emergency meeting on Tuesday to discuss the 23-year-old star's DUI probation case, UsMagazine.com has learned. The latest drama? Lohan's court-ordered alcohol monitoring bracelet reportedly went off on Sunday night, after the star appeared at the MTV Movie Awards and an after party.

In addition to prosecutors and Lohan's attorney, officials from the company that makes and tracks the SCRAM bracelet are scheduled to appear at Tuesday's meeting. They will present their findings on why Lohan's bracelet was triggered and her alcohol level on Sunday.

If it turns out that Lohan consumed alcohol -- thereby violating the no-alcohol terms of her probation related to a 2007 DUI arrest -- she could go to jail.
On May 24, the Mean Girls actress was ordered to wear the bracelet and undergo weekly random drug tests until a July 6 hearing.
Of the latest wrinkle, Lohan is crying foul. "My scram wasn't set off, " she Tweeted Tuesday, shortly before the meeting was scheduled. "Its physically impossible considering I've nothing for it to go off-All of these false resports are absolutely wrong...This is all because of a FALSE accusation by tabloids& paparazzi& it is f***ing digusting- I've been more than I'm compliance &feeling great."
She adds: "also, they can check probation records for alcohol as i got tested YESTERDAY."

I do not know what to think of this one THIS time because these celebrities get away with just a slap on the wrist, whereas if it were you or me, honey, they would not hesitate to slap those cuffs on our wrists and throw our collective azzes in jail. E! just reported that Lindsay tweeted that a friend put a flashing bracelet around her boot as a joke. The scram company was sent an alert. That's how they knew it went off. Not because they saw video of a flashing light around her ankle. The judge said that she has to pay $200K to stay out of jail. I don't think she'll see a second of jail, though. Nothing ever happens to this girl and she's allowed to do whatever she wants regardless of the law. It's no wonder she has no respect for it. What a loser.
