Justin Long: Taylor Swift Caught Me Humming “Shake It Off” At The Knicks Game!

Even Justin Long can’t resist Taylor Swift‘s infectious tunes! The actor, 36, sat down with HuffPost Live on Nov. 26 to discuss his upcoming movie Comet, and ended up dishing on spending time with his famous friend Swift.

When Long attended the Nov. 12 New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, he was flanked by a bevy of A-list beauties, including girlfriend Amanda Seyfried and the 1989 songstress. The trio made headlines in the first row, where they were also joined by supermodel Kate Upton.

Long joked that Swift, 24, is an “up-and-comer,” but maintained that the blonde is “shockingly down to earth.” He added that Swift “knew all about the Knicks,” and seemed to be a “big fan.”

He’s a fan himself — of Swift’s music, that is. The Tusk actor managed to make the “Blank Space” singer laugh when he got caught humming one of her hit songs.

“At one point they were playing that song [“Shake It Off”],” Long said. “I was just sort of singing it to myself absentmindedly and of course she heard it and kinda started laughing.”

Long, who has since purchased 1989, said, “It’s one of those songs that really gets in your head, like really crawls in there.”

The actor called the album “incredible” and joked, “I don’t know why I’m promoting her stuff, she’s doing fine!”

In Long’s movie, Comet, out Dec. 5, he portrays one half of a couple falling in and out of love in a parallel universe. Emmy Rossum of Showtime’s hit series Shameless costars as the object of his affection.
