It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Anyone who uses social media knows that the “It’s gonna be May” meme circulates on the Internet every year at the end of April — including Justin Timberlake himself.

The “Suit & Tie” singer, 35, took to Twitter on Friday, April 29, to poke fun at the now-famous photo of himself with curly blond hair from the early 2000s, which first became a meme on Tumblr in 2012.

In the throwback pic, Timberlake awkwardly smiles at the camera, with the misheard lyrics from ‘NSync’s 2000 hit “It’s Gonna Be Me” inscribed below as the caption.

The viral meme has been shared countless times — even by the President of the United States! Barack Obama shared a snapshot of himself with the entertainer on Facebook in April 2014, which he cleverly captioned, “It’s gonna be May.”

“It’s Gonna Be Me” was the second single from the former boyband’s sophomore album, No Strings Attached, following the release of the Grammy-nominated first single “Bye Bye Bye.”
