Kate Upton's Detroit Tigers boyfriend Justin Verlander tossed her a baseball in the stands during a game against the New York Yankees in NYC on Monday, Aug. 4

His No. 1 cheerleader! Kate Upton got an adorable surprise during the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees game on Monday, Aug. 4, when her Detroit pitcher boyfriend Justin Verlander tossed her a baseball behind his team's dugout.

The cute moment was caught on camera at NYC’S Yankee Stadium while Verlander, 31, briefly talked to the 22-year-old Sports Illustrated model in the stands. Upton—dressed in white pants and a matching top—sweetly smiled and was later photographed carrying the souvenir as she left the ballpark.

Upton and her athlete beau first met while shooting an MLB 2K12 commercial back in 2012. They briefly split, and sparked speculation of a reconciliation in January when they were photographed attending a hockey game in Philadelphia. That same month, the on-again couple traveled to the Bahamas together for a sexy getaway.
