It’s been a roller coaster year for Kaley Cuoco, and the actress was visibly emotional as she spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about her split from her husband of nearly two years, Ryan Sweeting, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, February 23.
But despite her obvious emotional struggles, the 30-year-old is trying to put a positive spin on life.
“You know, so I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015,” she insisted. “And you know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.”
Evidently full of regret, the actress looked pained as she admitted her marriage lasted only a year and a half.
“I know. I know. I know. I had the date tattooed on my back and everything to remind me,” the Big Bang Theory star revealed.
“Maybe you should have put it on your front,” DeGeneres joked, lightening the mood, before Cuoco revealed a new moth tattoo she’s had inked on her back to cover up the date of the ill-fated nuptials. Click here to see pics of Kaley’s toned post-split body.
Was there any significance to the moth?
“Because, it was big enough to cover the numbers… big wings,” she added, laughing. “’It’s just what I picked out when I was there.”
