Kanye West Resurfaces on Instagram, Shares Dozens of Bizarre Photos After Sacramento Concert Rant

What is happening?! Kanye West resurfaced on Instagram on Sunday, November 20, to share dozens of blurry, weirdly cropped photos of models. The bizarre posts came just one day after he abruptly ended a concert in Sacramento, California, following a 15-minute rant about the media, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton.

As fans know, the “Fade” rapper, 39, joined Instagram in September, but only shared one picture at the time — a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s 1990 film Total Recall.

Now, more than two months later, West has returned to the social media app to share 90-plus (and counting!) photos that appear to be taken from old-school fashion magazines. None of the posts have captions, which only further perplexed his 2 million Instagram followers.

“Kanye doesn’t post on Instagram for 3 months, then he posts 33 pictures in 2 hours, standard,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Another added, “In a shocking twist, Kanye has not posted a single picture of himself on his Instagram yet.”

West notably tagged director Eli Russell Linnetz, who directed the Teyana Taylor–starring “Fade” music video, in his first post on Sunday night, which led some fans to believe the cryptic photos may be a teaser for a forthcoming music or art project.

Several Instagram users commented on the posts with bee emojis, a clear nod to Beyoncé, 35, who the 21-time Grammy winner called out during his lengthy rant at Saturday night’s concert.

As previously reported, West performed just four songs before launching into a tirade against his peers as well as Clinton, Google and Facebook. He then dropped the microphone and unexpectedly ended the show, angering thousands of concertgoers, who were later offered refunds for the event. The incident immediately caused a commotion online, and led #KanyeIsOverParty to trend on Twitter on Sunday.
