Kate Middleton Rides in a Carriage, Greets the President of the Republic of Singapore: Listen to the Duchess Speak!

Fit for a Duchess! Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, returned to her royal duties in stunning fashion on Tuesday, Oct. 21, her first official engagement since the announcement of her second pregnancy in early September. Photos of her outing made the rounds on Tuesday afternoon — and now there's video, too!

As seen in the above clip, the pregnant Duchess, 32, accompanied Prince William, also 32, to the Royal Garden Hotel in London, where they greeted the President of the Republic of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, and his wife, Mary. Dressed for the day in an Alexander McQueen coat and a Jane Taylor fascinator, Middleton smiled warmly as she shook hands with their honored guests.

"Good morning. Very nice to see you again. It's a bit colder than our last visit," she can be heard saying to the Singaporean President, referring to her 2012 Asia-Pacific tour with the Duke. Then, alluding to her recent troubles with hyperemesis gravidarum, which has kept her holed up at home for several weeks, she added, "I've been looking forward to getting out of the house, that's for sure."

Later in the video, the Duchess and her husband are seen on a carriage ride en route to Buckingham Palace. An onlooker tells Us she "seemed to cope well" with the bumpiness, and preoccupied herself "listening to William as he chatted away as the procession began."

Hours after the outing, Prince George's mom made a solo appearance at the Natural History Museum for the 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards, where she stunned in a floor-sweeping pale-blue gown by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham.
