The Duchess speaks!
The world has seen lots and lots of Kate Middleton since she became the Duchess of Cambridge nearly a year ago -- but royal watchers haven't had the chance to hear much of Prince William's wife, 30.
That's all set to change March 19, when Kate is scheduled to give a brief address at The Treehouse, a brand-new hospice service in Ipswich run by East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH); it will be Kate's first public speech since becoming a royal.
After that big first, the Duchess will tour the facilities, meet with children, families and staff, and plant a tree.
Two days before that, she'll headline her first solo military engagemnet when she presents shamrocks to the Irish Guards at the St. Patrick's Day Parade at Mons Barracks, Aldershot.
The Duchess will meet with hundreds of soldiers and have a private luncheon at the Barracks.
