Katherine Heigl Suffers Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction

Katherine Heigl has suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
While accepting the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year in Las Vegas Thursday, one of the straps on her red Donna Karan dress broke. Shocked, the actress, 31, struggled to continue with her acceptance speech.

Access Hollywood host Billy Bush immediately ran to her rescue, holding her strap in place.
"Oh my," he Twittered. "Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks...I hold her top on while she accepts!"
A rep for Heigl tells UsMagazine.com: "She appreciated Billy's 'support.'"

All was well by the end of the night: Heigl regained composure and finished her speech. Later, she went backstage, found a pin to secure the strap and continued taking photos.
Earlier in the night, ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine praised Heigl for her "ever-present charm and innate talent" that has made her "transition from TV screen to silver screen seemingly effortless."

"Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe," he said of Heigl, who is rumored to be leaving ABC's Grey's Anatomy this year.
Heigl returns to the big screen in June, costarring with Ashton Kutcher in the comedy Killers.

I don't get it, why do celebrities always get wardrobe malfunctions? Aren't they supposed to be wearing designer duds that ger made for specially for them that cost fortunes. I buy clothes from regular retail shops that costs a fraction of their designer clothes and I HAVE NEVER HAD A STRAP BREAK!!!!!!!!!

While I'm not a fan of the darker hair on her either, I did hear that she will be playing the role of Stephanie Plum in the movie adaptation of the Janet Evanivich books. That character is an Italian American Jersey girl with dark hair. Not sure, but maybe that's the reason for the color change?

I didn't notice the dress so much as the hair color. I just don't think this color is as flattering as the lovely blond she used to have. The blond hair just makes her face light up, and ironically even though it is not her natural hair color, it looks more natural on her. She just glows as a blond. I hope the brown is just for a part she is playing.
