Counting down the days! Katie Couric just spilled the beans on when she will be tying the knot with fiance John Molner. The veteran journalist announced the news herself while attending Howard Stern's 60th birthday party in NYC on Friday, Jan. 31.
"Summer!" Couric, 57, told Stern inside the Hammerstein Ballroom. When the SiriusXm disc jockey asked if he would be invited, she replied: "No, but to the party. [The wedding is] going to be family only."
Couric's rep confirmed to Us Weekly last September that she and the NYC-based financier, 50, were headed to the altar. The pair has been dating for nearly two years, and went public with their relationship in spring 2012.
"Yes it's true!" Couric confirmed via Twitter at the time. "So touched by all the kind Tweets & warm wishes-thank you! A great end to the summer & looking fwd to seeing you all Monday!!"
This will be the second marriage for the Yahoo global anchor. Couric's first husband, Jay Monahan, died of colon cancer in 1998. She is mom to their daughters Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 17.
