Katy Perry and John Mayer Kiss, Hold Hands During Another Night Out

Katy Perry and John Mayer were spotted kissing and holding hands a year after they split in 2014

John Mayer and Katy Perry are dueting again.

After breaking up last February (for the third time), the "Who You Love" singers are apparently giving it another go. On Saturday, they went on a double date with Girls actress Allison Williams and her fiancé, Ricky Van Veen, at see-and-be-seen spot Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. They kissed and held hands at the table, according to multiple reports.

"They never stopped talking and being friendly while they were broken up," a source told E! News. "They are really excited about being together right now and spending as much time as possible. … They have spent almost every night together this week."

Indeed Perry, 30, and Mayer, 37, were also spotted together last weekend having dinner at nearby Sunset Tower. However, photographers have yet to snap new photos of them together.

The "Roar" singer, who was linked to DJ Diplo after parting ways with Mayer, seemed ready to embrace something new on New Year's Day. Check out this cryptic tweet:

Talk about not being able to quit each other! Perry and Mayer's on-again, off-again romance started back in June 2012, but by Labor Day of that year they had split. They reconciled the following month and went public with their romance, attending lots of events together, including President Obama's inauguration and the 2013 Grammys. However, by March they split again with serial celebrity dater Mayer admitting, "Coupling is a tricky thing" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

By June 2013, they were — you guessed it! — coupled up again and went on to release a musical collaboration, "Who You Love," in September. But their love for each other didn't last and they split in January 2014. Things seemed pretty permanent after that parting of ways when a moving van appeared outside of Perry's L.A. pad soon after and carted away Mayer's belongings.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Perry, who is divorced from Russell Brand, spoke out about her relationship woes, saying, "I had to learn. I want to mommy everyone. I want to take care of them. I want to save them, and I forget myself in the meantime."

Who knows how long things will last this time, but we do know that Perry isn't forgetting herself this go-round. Professionally, she's focused on putting together a kick ass Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show, announcing over the weekend that Lenny Kravitz would be a special guest.

Sounds like Perry could easily nab another famous guitarist and singer for the big show, if she's so inclined.
