Nothing hot n cold about this! Katy Perry has scored Cosmopolitan magazine’s first-ever global cover, which means the singer will be gracing the July cover of all of its 62 editions.

“Katy’s music and attitude have universal appeal to young women everywhere,” Joanna Coles, editor in chief of Cosmopolitan, says in a statement. “She crosses all cultural boundaries. Her music is soulful and empowering in equal measure. She’s the first Cosmo global icon.”

Indeed, Perry’s debut album on a major label, One of the Boys, produced four smash singles, and its follow-up, Teenage Dream, debuted at No. 1 in eight countries. She’s recently kicked off her Prism World Tour, and has had steady success with her third studio album, Prism, with hits like “Dark Horse,” “Unconditionally,” and her current single “Birthday.” As of last February, the 29-year-old star also became the most followed person on Twitter with over 53 million followers.

Perry’s issue will hit newsstands in countries like Singapore, South Africa, Germany, Vietnam, Australia, Spain, Ukraine, Greece, and more on June 3. (Wait, it gets better!) In the mag, the “Roar” songstress will reveal if she’d ever get back together with ex John Mayer (the two split for the second time last February), why she’d like to wear less makeup, and what alcohol she’d never want to drink again.

Clearly, Perry has a lot to say. “If you’re secretly reading the mag and not really allowed to, don’t worry,” she tells Cosmo readers. “I did it too.”
