Kellan Lutz Is "So Disgusted" by Puppy-Hurling Teen

Twilight star Kellan Lutz is fuming after viewing footage of a teenage girl who abused six puppies by hurling them into a river in Bosnia.
"What is going on with the search for the girl throwing the puppies into the river?" Lutz, 25, tweeted Sunday. "I've never been so disgusted before. That video is so incredibly disturbing and plain out wrong."

The 43-second video -- which first appeared on YouTube before later being removed -- shows a giggling teenage girl (clad in a red hooded sweatshirt) pulling six small puppies out of a white bucket and throwing them into the raging waters.
Police in the the central Bosnian town of Bugojno told London's Telegraph they had identified the underage girl Friday, though they have yet to release her name; the girl's parents will soon be questioned.

"Heard Michael Bay put up a bounty for her or info leading to her arrest. Thank you for that, and everyone who is not standing for this," Lutz continued. "That cruelty and any cruelty to animals helpless or not is unacceptable. I can't get the crying puppies out of my head."

The Eclipse actor -- who appeared in a PETA campaign with his dog Kola earlier this year -- says he's grateful the teen will be held accountable for her actions. If convicted, she may be required to pay a $6,400 fine as a result of a new Bosnian animal cruelty law.
"I'm so grateful that she has been found and even more grateful for the new law!" he tweeted. "Thank you all for taking a stand and using your voices against such actions as this. You all are my heroes!"

I'm so glad I never saw this video. I'm literally sick to my stomach just hearing about it. It's nice to see a celebrity actually giving a crap about something other than themselves, and speaking out about it. I have such a soft spot for animals. I hope this girl gets what she deserves.
If the puppies were truly saved, that's good. Whether or not they were, this young monster girl needs therapy. Laughing while killing helpless animals is how many of the worst serial killers began. Next step, laughing while killing helpless human victims. As an animal lover, the video haunts me and hurts my soul.

As sad as it is, her parents probably told her to do it, because they didn't want them, and that probably wasn't the 1st time she' did it. I don't know why she had to video tape it though. You would be surprised at how many people don't get their pets spayed or neutered, and then when their animal gets pregnant, they just discard the babies like garbage, because they don't want them or can't get rid of them.

This girl will probably grow up to be a serial killer. I don't know about her brother; I don't know how he could have filmed it. Kill and torture animals, grow up to be a people killer.
I think more celebs should take a stand on ALL forms of cruelty...to people and animals. I could post it all over my facebook page but as soon as a celeb tweets something it gets major exposure.
I don't think the puppies were saved I'm sorry, but I don't believe the story of the lady who say she saved them. The river was so fast and the puppies so small, to me it's impossible.... This horrible teen killed the puppies and put that on You tube!! Terrible!! You have to be sick to do something like that! and to be proud of it!! Come on! I thank Kellan Lutz to speak about this story. I think he will be a good influence on young people. I hope more celebrities could do the same. Thank you

The story of the woman saving the puppies doesn't look right. The puppies were younger, black and white while the puppies with the old lady are tan and black. Plus the woman is a neighbor. Seems like she could be doing this to help the little sociopath.

throwing puppies in to river is bad but where the Hell Michael Bay was, when Bosnian people were thrown into the Blood river during Bosnian war... I don't remember him speaking at that time.. Obviously In America actually caring for Animals seems Humanity not for Muslims! hope Michael effing Bay gets meddle for that!
At least those puppies survived. Thanks John for the update on that. It makes me love Kellan Lutz even more now! How heartless of that girl to just throw them in the river like they were worthless or trash. Animals, no matter how big or small, have feelings and a heartbeat. Anyone who would just throw them away should not have animals. Period.
I too was astounded and disgusted as well. If it makes you feel any better, I was looking at a few UK paper's and in one of them there is an article of a grandmother who happened to see and hear the puppies crying in the water, AND SAVED THEM. All of them. There she was holding the wet puppies in her arms and cradling them to her breast. Apparently she was walking (not driving) to go work in the potato fields and heard their cries. Pretty cool with a great ending except hopefully for that young girl who should learn an invaluable lesson on the value of life.
Glad to know he's concerned. Animal abuse sucks & should be a felony as far as I'm concerned.
