Kelly Rowland is applauding Beyonce, her former Destiny's Child partner, for the mature way she handled herself at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.
After winning video of the year, Beyonce, 28, invited Taylor Swift, 19, on stage to finish her Best Female Video acceptance speech, which Kanye West, 32, famously interrupted earlier in the night because he felt Beyonce deserved to win.

"I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it’s important to know that there is room for everybody," she told Us. "Kanye is a genius - no one takes that away from him, but [he should] be moral and be a [good] person."

Beyonce's reaction was one of utter disbelief when Mr. West did his thing. I cannot believe that you guys are spreading disinformation about her reaction. Watch the video. Beyonce has won Best Female 2-3 times and in total has won 11 MTV Awards. She won Video of the Year which is the biggest award so she was very happy and had no problem sharing the stage with Taylor. She's sweet and geniune and you could see it in her reaction - she was laughing jerks.

beyonce did good. i was wondering if i was in b's place I would of went backstage to talk to her, but be' did good. whether she was trying to save her own face or not. she did the right thing. KW is suvh an idiot. Beyonce won video of the year, so he prob felt like an a** now. maybe he went off because he's in love w/ her or he was on the ego track. I saw it with my own eyes, as did the entire world.... she was laughing & smiling & saying, "Oh Kanye!" but afterwards, she had a chance to think about it & maybe she saw Taylor's tears in her eyes & shock on her face.... and then she did what she had to do to keep her own respectability! I saw Boyonce's reaction to what Kanye said and it was pure amused laughter with a huge smile to follow. There was no look of shock or disapproval at all. Her calling Taylor up on stage was just a pure save for her reaction that was caught on camera. Nice gesture but totally self serving because again she was caught on camera.
The fact is: in 20 years nobody will remember Kanye West, Taylor Swift, or Beyonce. They are utterly forgetable performers. Try saying that about the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Madonna or Michael Jackson, to name a few memorable artists.
I don't think Beyonce was laughing..she looked shocked...and in disbelief....and I don't care how much people think Kanye is talented...it doesn't make up for his mouth! His disrespect....how would he have handled it...if Billy Joe from Green Day came up and said, I think Einmem should have won....had it been that case? The world would have been in an uproar...I just love the double standards that are going on now!! I agree with Anonymous 5:49pm. Beyonce was gyrating her crotch and it was really disgusting. That's not classy. Isn't she suppose to be a role model? Yeah, what she did at the end was nice but her performance sucked.
