Taking the high road! Kelly Osbourne appeared on The Talk alongside her mom Sharon Osbourne on Tuesday, March 10, and finally addressed her abrupt Fashion Police exit.
“You know what, it was the five best working years of my life,” the former co-host said when asked how she feels since leaving the show. “I am so grateful for the experience — working with Joan Rivers for five years was incredible. I learned so much and I’m excited for my future. I want to try new things.”
The purple-haired star kept mum about exactly why she left, but her abrupt departure came after she stood up for her pal Zendaya Coleman, whom co-host Giuliana Rancic insulted on air, saying she looked like she smelled like patchouli oil and weed during the show’s Oscars special.
“I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS THIS IM SERIOUSLY QUESTIONING STAYING ON THE SHOW!” Osbourne tweeted after fans freaked out and came to Zendaya’s aid, bashing the E! hosts for being racist.
As exclusively revealed by Us Weekly, the network is now eyeing Khloe Kardashian, NeNe Leakes, and Naya Rivera as possible replacements for Osbourne.
