Kelly Osbourne on Her Wedding: “I’m Not Getting Married for Attention”

Kelly Osbourne speaks at the LEAP Foundations scholarship program.
Kelly Osbourne says she's not marrying Matthew Mosshart "for attention."

Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart aren't looking to cash in on their upcoming wedding. After confirming their engagement earlier this month (as exclusively reported by Us Weekly in its Feb. 4 issue), the bride-to-be explained that she doesn't feel any different now that she has a custom Tiffany ring on her finger. "It's more just confirming what I already knew," she told Us Weekly at a LEAP Foundation Scholarship Program event in L.A. on Sunday, July 28.

"People don't really understand that I'm not getting married for attention. They don't get that," she said. "I'm actually getting married because I love my future husband, so when everybody's like, 'What are you doing? And who are you wearing? And where is it going to be?' I'm like, 'I don't know. You care more about it than I do!'"

The Fashion Police co-host added, "I'm just happy I'm getting married."

"I designed it to look like an earring that my father wore when I was little," Kelly recently said of her father, Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, 64. "I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say, 'I want a ring like that.' Now I have one!"
