The Jenner sisters had everyone talking at the MuchMusic Video Awards — and this time it wasn't about flubbed lines.
Combining the style cues they've picked up from their famous Kardashian sisters as well as things they've learned during recent photo campaigns, the aspiring model teens, who co-hosted the show in Toronto, commanded attention on the red carpet in their eye-catching ensembles that made them look much older than they are.
Kendall, who recently made her debut in Vogue Paris, had the more daring look of the pair. The 18-year-old's long-sleeved, floor-length embellished Fausto Puglisi gown would actually have been pretty conservative… had it not had two leg slits that came up nearly to her waist. It was definitely an "Angelina who?" moment.
Not to be outdone, little sister Kylie, who is back to dark locks after a dalliance with blue, was in a mini mood. The 16-year-old wore a short, orangish gold dress that had sheer panels throughout. (No doubt big sister Kim was proud of the pair. After all, she knows about turning heads, which she did over the weekend at Bonnaroo in a see-through top.)
During the show, their first big co-hosting gig, they made a couple outfit changes. One put them both in pants with Kendall wearing a peplum strapless top and Kylie in a blouse with an open front. They also wore two other curve-hugging dresses, including Kendall's python print, knee-length frock with side cutouts.
The girls earned mixed reviews for their emceeing — no surprise, they are Kardashians, so you either love or hate them — but it was decidedly better than Kendall messing up her lines at the Billboard Music Awards in May and trying to recover by saying, "You guys! I'm the worst reader!"
Despite being the self-proclaimed worst reader, Kendall has a new sci-fi book out that she "authored" with Kylie. Yahoo's Mike Vulpo went to their book signing in L.A. last week and asked fans why they like the sisters, which you can read all about here.
