Swoosh! It’s no secret that Khloe Kardashian has a thing for NBA players. The Kocktails With Khloe host, 31, explained to Howard Stern on Wednesday, January 13, why she’s attracted to ballers.
When Stern asked if she had a type — considering her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and current boyfriend, James Harden, both play basketball — Kardashian replied, “I guess. I mean, especially now that I’m athletic, I like athletes. I like to be active.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who also detailed in the candid interview that the 36-year-old former NBA player cheated on her throughout their marriage, acknowledged that she’s aware athletes have a reputation. “I’ve heard this story before,” she quipped when Stern suggested she not date another basketball player.
Kardashian first stepped out with Harden, 26, this past July. During her interview with the self-proclaimed king of all media, she explained that she met the Houston Rockets player a month prior at Kanye West’s 38th birthday in June.
“I don’t actually [go to the games],” she joked, laughing with Stern about how she meets “these guys.” “Kimberly threw Kanye a birthday party at the Staples Center, we rented it out, and she had all of his friends there and some athletes were playing basketball and so I met him there,” Kardashian explained.
Following their meet and greet, Kardashian threw Harden a massive birthday bash aboard a yacht in Marina Del Rey, California, in August. The couple have been together ever since, taking a brief break only when Odom was hospitalized this past October.
