Chill out, people! Khloé Kardashian may not have personally gone under the knife, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently told Cosmopolitan that she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with a little nip/tuck.
“I think plastic surgery should be viewed almost like makeup, because we’re all putting on a f--king mask basically every day anyway,” the 31-year-old Kocktails With Khloé host said. “When you dye your hair, you’re changing who you are, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I think people should get plastic surgery or fillers or lasers or whatever if they want it — that should be your own personal decision.”
Kardashian also pointed out that she’s never succumbed to pressures to have any work done on herself, even though fans have speculated that she’s gotten a nose job.
“I don’t [have one],” she said. “If I felt like I wanted one, I would’ve. And if I want to do something, I’ll totally do it — I don’t care and I’ll be the first one to say, ‘Look what I just did! This is my doctor, let’s do an interview with him and give me the free nose job!’”
The reality star added that one of the recent guests on her show, plastic surgeon (and star of Botched and Real Housewives of Orange County) Terry Dubrow, M.D., had explained that her nose may have changed with her weight loss.
“It’s like when you’re pregnant, your nose spreads because there’s fat pockets in there, I guess,” Kardashian said. “So when I lost weight, my nose did get smaller, and also I now know about contouring. Like when I wash my face, my nose is wider.”
Last June, when she was slammed with rumors that she had liposuction to shed the pounds, she fought back on Twitter.
"I find it disgusting but maybe a compliment that I'm being accused of getting Lipo done. I work out 5 days a week. I bust my ass!" Kardashian wrote at the time. "Yes this is documented by the paps. I'm assuming if I've had any sort of surgery I would need 6-8 weeks off of any intense workout."
