Sisterly love. Khloe Kardashian did her best to lift brother Rob Kardashian's spirits on Monday, December 14, by posting a touching and emotional message to her sibling via Instagram.
"If only you could see yourself through my eyes!" the 31-year-old reality star captioned a photograph of the pair of them together. "I'll forever be obsessed with you! My one and only! #MyAce" she added.
The photograph shows Rob, 28, leaning in to give his older sister a kiss in the days before the only male Kardashian family member took a big step out of the public eye.
Rob, who gained more than 100 pounds over the course of a year after his appearance on Season 13 of Dancing With the Stars in 2011, has been absent from numerous family events in recent years, including major moments such as Kim Kardashian’s 2014 nuptials to Kanye West.
Last month the private Kardashian even appeared to have opted out of a family Thanksgiving, being notably absent from the group photograph shared by all other members of the Jenner-Kardsahian "blended family" on the day.
Mom, Kris Jenner, later explained that her son had been present for part of the celebrations, but had opted to remain out of the spotlight.
"He lives with Khloe,” the momager told Maria Menounos about Rob’s whereabouts on Thanksgiving. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house."
"He’s doing all right," Jenner continued, of Rob's ongoing struggles. "You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.”
