Video: Kids in Haiti Go Crazy for Angelina
Angelina Jolie caused quite a stir Tuesday as she arrived in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to visit earthquake survivors (see video, above).
"Angie! Angie!" Haitians began yelling as the actress, 34, toured an SOS Villages camp for orphans. (Reporters were kept at a distance throughout her visit.)

Jolie --- who, along with beau Brad Pitt, donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders to provide medical assistance to those in need of emergency care --- also toured a DWB hospital in a Port-au-Prince suburb, waving to onlookers.

The actress was said to be spending the night at a Brazilian military camp outside the city.
On Wednesday, she is expected to visit the southern city of Jacmel, a camp for people made homeless by the quake, as well as a Save the Children relief supply center, according to the Associated Press.

Tell Us What You Think
130Angie is amazing.
and brads at home with the kids, if they do break up the kids should stay with him. he spends more time with them
angelina thinks she's just so d@mn great, ug. trying to do good doesn't change who you really are inside, a sl#t that has no consideration for others, exploits her kids for publicity, wrecks women's relationships, beats up brad lol. she doesn't go to other countries to help, she goes there to show everyone how great she is. she is a movie star, she's superficial. more famous for acting like a b#tch in movies with guns and violence. EVERYONE WORSHIPS YOU BECAUSE THEY THINK "WOW A BIG MOVIE STAR DOING CHARITY WORK" thats so rare, ug. there are average people doing greater things because they have good hearts and care about people. its time she sets up a mansion in some place where there won't be any prying eyes and just raise her kids instead of leaving them with nannies
wow. not only does she exploit her kids for publicity, she exploits other children with no homes or parents. she should stop being so full of herself and stop thinking that all kids want is to see a famous celebrity
Seriously WHY is she there? Did you see the look on those people sitting on the sidelines? They did not seem impressed and kinda looked disgusted that she was there. Also, could she have brought along a bigger notebook to write on? Looked more like a prop than anything, because she didn't even write anything down. She's such a fraud.
she is a good woman , god bless her
of course their yelling for her, I'm going to burn for this lol, their probably like "pick me, pick me please adopt me"
same old same old. pr stunt that no one believes. hollywood like john travolta and clooney must be laughing. she never gives her own money to charity. she is the biggest joke. she should go home to her mansions and 30 nannies.
What rumor is she dispelling by visiting Haiti ALONE?..Try making some sense next time you want to put down someone's selfless humanitarian works.
Hey idiots (mainly "magmag"), she's there as a UN representative. And press is there for other celebrities. John Travolta, olivia Wilde, Wyclef. The UN sends their own cameras to document the devastation and progress. USE YOUR HEAD. Its really not that complicated
All haters, why don't you help instead of criticizing her? Haters are insecure and selfish people and cannot mind their own business - that's the problem of most people nowadays.
Another phony PR stunt. So sickening. Karma is a bietch. It's really low to take advantage of tragedy just to dispel rumours. She must really care what the rags say. Sick phony fraud.
What in the world is she doing there?? This people need food, a home and medical care. What the hell is going to do for this people? Many more celebreties have visited Haiti so where is the press for them? I just don't buy this. Donate your money not your time, your time is not really worth anything. I hate when celebrities use unfortunate situations for press.
JACMEL, Haiti â?? It may be a grim theatre of operations but one of the world's most glamourous film stars brightened the day Wednesday for dozens of Canadian air force personnel serving there. Movie star Angelina Jolie paid a visit to Jacmel, Haiti, where members of the Canadian Forces have been keeping the shattered Caribbean country's second air entry point open, ensuring the continued operation of an air bridge between Canada, Jamaica and Haiti. Jolie travelled to Haiti in support of humanitarian efforts being made by the international community since the earthquake on Jan. 12. Early Wednesday, the star set down at Jacmel airfield aboard a United Nations aircraft. Welcomed by Maj. Kevin Skirrow, commander of the theatre air support element from 8 Air Maintenance Squadron, 8 Wing Trenton, and Maj. Eric Cyr, commander of Trenton-based 8 Wing Mission Support Squadron, Jolie was unsparing in her praise for the Canadian troops based at Jacmel Airfield. "I think that all the efforts being made to deliver aid to Haiti are amazing," she said. "It's beautiful to see the enthusiasm of the people who are here in support of the Haitian people. The co-operation among all the nations who've come here is wonderful and heart-warming." As for Skirrow, he couldn't contain his enthusiasm at welcoming a movie star at gritty Jacmel airfield. "Ms. Jolie's presence here draws the world's attention to the cause we're working for in Haiti," said Skirrow. "I would like to thank her for coming here in support of the Haitian people. Just like us, she's contributing to the humanitarian effort. Our mission in Jacmel is to maintain the airfield's services in support of the air bridge, which allows for humanitarian aid to be brought into the country. It makes me proud when I see that, military personnel or stars, we're all making an effort. I was also very happy to give Tiffany Keenan, co-ordinator for the non-governmental organizations working with us at Jacmel airfield, the opportunity to show Ms. Jolie her projects." "Madame Jolie seemed like a very human, very warm person. Even with her busy schedule, she took time to pay tribute to the troops and went out of her way to talk with them and have photos taken. Her visit was highly appreciated," said Cyr. (Capt. Alexandre Moniz is an air force public affairs officer deployed to Jacmel, Haiti.)
I'm glad there are some celebrities out there that give to charity instead of spending all of it on cars, jewelery, women, etc. She's a good role model.
Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie went to Haiti to see the devastation. Whom did she talk to? Why, CNNâ??s Christiane Amanpour. CNN is calling the chat â??a worldwide exclusive interview.â?? The interview airs at 3 p.m. ET Friday on CNN International and at 2 p.m. ET Sunday on â??Amanpourâ?? on CNN in the United States. CNN says Jolie talks about â??her reaction to what she has seen, her hope for the future of Haiti and how she will personally work to help the Haitian people.â??
FANTASTIC WOMAN.
why does she fire any nanny she suspects of telling the truth? one paranoid liar.
So happy you still wear the pants and forced armpitt to stay with you. Keeps the husbands safe.
Thanks Ange for using charity. You are one sick mother fn psycho. Hope you rot with your cruel lies and manipulation. Not everyone is fooled by your acting.
