Well, this is sort of the cutest. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West played at NYC's legendary toy store FAO Schwarz on their very first date. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed the sweet tidbit via Twitter on Monday, February 29.
"Our 1st date. #HeartAndSoul," she tweeted. Kardashian also posted a flashback video of the pair playing "Heart and Soul" on a floor piano, reminiscent of Tom Hanks' iconic Big scene in 1988.
Kardashian and West, 38, were friends for years before they began dating in April 2012, following the reality star's messy divorce from Kris Humphries.
A year later, in October 2013, the rapper popped the question at AT&T Park in San Francisco, and the couple married in a lavish Florence, Italy, ceremony in May 2014. They are now parents to daughter North, 2, and son Saint, 2 months.
Last year, Kardashian opened up about how the couple's friendship blossomed into romance. “I was always attracted to him. When I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance, and that was that," she told Access Hollywood in May. "And then, I think it was six months after I was newly single in 2012, I was like, ‘Why not? Like, what am I waiting for?’”
"In my head I was like, ‘You know what? Screw it,'" she continued. "Like, this is probably what I’ve been waiting for, it’s been in front of my face."
