A mere 72 days after her high-profile televised wedding to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday, Us Weekly has confirmed.
Citing "irreconcilable differences" in her filing, Kardashian, 31, will not seek an annulment.

Swapping vows with Humphries, 26, in a $10 million Montecito, Calif., ceremony August 20, Kardashian quickly reached her breaking point.
One sticking point for the couple? Currently unemployed due to the NBA lockout, Humphries has been partying up a storm on his wife's dime -- while she juggles her successful E! reality shows and business ventures.

"Kim and Kris are not getting along at all," a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly. "Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it's causing problems."
Days before Kardashian's 31st birthday, the newlyweds "had it out!" says a family friend. "She told him he needs to do something productive. The work ethic in that family really means something. He needs to get off his ass, like, yesterday."

"On some levels," says the friend, "she feels like she made a mistake."

I beleive these stars are not taking the oath of marriage seriously. It is a sacred oath that comes from God. Because they are so rich and powerful it seems they worship money. I have sat in my living room countless times and listen to stars getting divorced in 24 hrs, 1 month etc. It's time to take marriage serious. I have been married for ten years and counting!!!! Everything will not be good alll the time. Marriage is hard work!!!

this is so rediculous. Kim K made $17 million in 72 days and people are worried about gays ruining the sanctity of marriage.
Kim, return the ring to Kris and return the wedding gifts. Donating to charities in place of returning the gifts is not fair to your wedding guest who got caught in your scam. Why not redeem yourself and give to some charities also with some of the money you made off of the wedding? This may help fans see you in a more favorable light. I'm sorry you were not a strong enough woman to stop the wedding if you knew before it would not work out. In that case why did you even keep opening and accepting gifts if you knew you were not going to stay with Kris? Kris, go on with your life you will find someone much more deserving and honest with you that will show you true love!
