Exclusive: Kim Kardashian: Scott Disick "Always at Home Helping Kourtney"

In the new issue of Us Weekly, the Kardashian family sings the praises of a new, improved Scott Disick, Kourtney's less-than-beloved boyfriend and father to Mason, 9 weeks.
"Everything changes when you have a baby," Kourtney, 30, tells Us. "You forget the petty stuff and see what's important. Everything is amazing!"

Lambasted by Kourtney's mom Kris Jenner and even slapped by sister Khloe (who coined the "douche lord" term), Disick suffered a rep as a vain, hard-drinking boyfriend and inattentive new dad.

No more, insists Kim Kardashian. "He's always at home helping Kourtney," Kim, 29, tells Us. "It has for sure brought them closer."

These days, Disick, 26, texts Kim a new photo of Mason daily. "Scott is so attentive to him," Kim says. "Mason has contributed to Scott growing up a lot."
"Scott is still a work in a progress, don't get me wrong," the girls' stepdad Bruce Jenner tells Us. "But he's coming through."

Everybody matures at their own pace. I am so happy for all the mean comment people. That they, their lives, and spouses are all perfect enough for them to say mean things about others. Stay at home parenting is the most important rewarding job in the world. Caring for anothers needs and feelings while totally disregarding your own. You ladies should try it sometime...
They have deserved everything that they have gotten from Scott. Look at how they have treated him . He must be coming into some money for them to finally treat him human. A man who is a stay at home dad deserves praise, respect and honor. He is also an actor who has cameras constantly following him around. He is getting paid. I don't see him asking for hand-outs. More importantly he is a real person with feelings. D- lord, loser, even assault...are you animals?? Where's the human compassion factor?
What a beautiful family..this baby will have a aboundence of love....i see a wonderful change in scott and kourtney...show to be an amazing tenitive mother..just look at them both...they were givin a gift from heaven...and the family on both sides have been also been given a gift from heaven.....Mason Dash {Heaven Sent}...i am full of joy and happiness....God bless u all

It's their busines what they do and nobody else's. I'm happy for them. Lovely family. People should work on their own lives instead of hating on them. Maybe they are trying to work through their issues. Sometimes relationships have problems and things are complicated. We don't know what they are doing, only what we see on tv and you're stupid if you believe every bit of that is real.

He should be at home if he's NOT WORKING. Quit acting like he deserves some freakin' medal. He's a dad now -- he's not doing anything more or anything less than any other dad. Irregardless, this relationship won't last. If I were her, I would have sucker-punched him a long time ago.

Scott is also an only child so I am guessing he was spoiled and given alot. I think alot of it is for ratings; someone has to be the villian and Kris isn't going to have one of her children as a villian...
I agree Jessica. When my husband was 25 he had a great job, we had 2 kids and he was a responsible person.... so all 25 year old men are not imature. Most of my friends husbands had it together at that age as well.
